Personal Profile

Wu Yonghua, born in 1976 in Wutong, a renowned hometown of painting and calligraphy in Guilin, Guangxi, furthered his studies at the Fine Arts Department of Guilin Normal College in 2008. In 2010, he studied under the painter Lu Yongsheng in Guilin, Guangxi, and has since continuously innovated within traditional techniques, developing his own distinctive style. His works are bestsellers across the country and have been frequently exhibited at art gatherings and exhibitions... focusing primarily on landscape ink painting.
He is currently a council member of the Wutong Painting and Calligraphy Association and a contracted artist at Yunshengzhai Painting and Calligraphy Studio.
