Personal Profile
Li Qiliu, born in 1976 in Wutong, a renowned hometown of painting and calligraphy in Guilin, Guangxi, studied at the Fine Arts Department of Guilin Normal College in 2006. In 2007, he became a disciple of renowned artists Huang Renfei and Li Linhong, specializing in landscape painting.In 2012, he sought guidance from painter Li Shenglin,and has since continuously innovated within traditional techniques, developing his own unique style. His works are widely popular across the country and he frequently participates in painting symposiums and art exhibitions.
2008: "Ten Thousand Li of the Song River" won the Third Prize in the Municipal Art Exhibition Celebrating the Olympics.
2013: "The Majestic Wind of Xiajiang" won the Third Prize in the National Biennial Exhibition.
2018: "The Elegant Residence of Hometown Sounds" won the Second Prize in the "Alliance of Mountain Villages" Art Exhibition.
