Personal Profile

Liu Chengke, born in 1971 in Guilin, Guangxi, is currently the President of the Guilin Chinese Painting Research Association and a council member of the Ronghu Book and Painting Society.

Mr. Liu has been passionate about painting since childhood, known for his honest and sincere character, pragmatic yet innovative approach. Over the years, he has diligently studied traditional landscape painting, creating works with a serene, understated, and elegant aesthetic—delicate in color, refined and soothing to the eye. His landscape paintings have repeatedly been awarded gold, silver, and first, second, and third prizes in national, provincial, municipal, and international competitions.
His works have been published in newspapers and magazines such as China Flower News, Shandong Workers' Daily, and Chinese Art. He paints with diligence and lives with integrity, cultivating both moral character and artistic excellence while keeping pace with the times. He is a painter with considerable influence both domestically and internationally.

His work "Dragon Soaring Through China" won the Special Prize in the 1990 Chinese Painting Grand Prix.
