Li Zhenrui, born in July 1955, is a native of Chaozhou, Guangdong, member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Senior Artistic Engineer of the State, Vice Chairman of the China Painting and Calligraphy Artists Association, Guest Professor at Guangdong Private Hualian College, member of the China Arts and Crafts Artists Association, member of the Guangdong Cultural Society, member of the Guangdong Calligraphers Association, Hong Kong Chaoshan International Painting and Calligraphy General Association member, Deputy Director of the China Hanqing Painting Academy, former Standing Committee Member of the Chaozhou Calligraphers Association.Served in the military since 1975, successively serving as soldier, platoon leader, company commander, staff officer, operations section chief, deputy regimental staff officer, regimental staff officer, deputy regiment commander, and deputy director of radar forces. After transfer, he served as instructor of the traffic police mobile detachment of Chaozhou City Public Security Bureau, and as deputy chief of the public security management brigade. Studied at Guilin Infantry School, Wuhan Air Force Radar College, and Hainan Normal College. Has been passionately devoted to calligraphy art since childhood, practicing calligraphy without interruption for decades. His regular script started with Liu Gongquan's style, and he has studied the styles of Ouyang Xun, Yan Zhenqing, and Zhao Mengfu. His running and cursive scripts are based on the works of Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi, Mi Fu, Zhao Mengfu, Sun Guoting, and Wang Duo, and he has also explored seal and clerical scripts, especially excelling in running and cursive scripts and small regular script. Since 1984, his works have been published, and they have participated in many large-scale exhibitions inside and outside the military and won awards. He has been selected for the 6th National Couplets Calligraphy Exhibition, the 3rd National Fan-shaped Calligraphy Exhibition, the 10th National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Works Exhibition, the First Bai Juyi Cup National Painting and Calligraphy Grand Prize Special Gold Award, the Gold Award of the National Painting and Calligraphy Competition Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Publication of Mao Zedong's Poem "Answering Li Shuyi", the Excellent Work Award of the First Guangdong Province Newcomers' New Works Calligraphy Exhibition, the 3rd Guangdong Province Nanyaya Award Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, and the Third Prize of the Guangdong Province Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China "Song of Brush and Ink" Double Support Calligraphy Exhibition. His works have been included in dozens of large-scale art albums such as China's "National Gallery", "Calligraphy and Painting Panorama", "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters' Masterpieces Collection", "List of Famous People in Modern Chinese Calligraphy and Seal Carving", and "Selected Collection of Masterpieces of Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters". His personal artistic achievements were introduced in a special feature in the book "Prosperous Guangdong" published in 2007. He was awarded the titles of "Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters" and "Chinese Contemporary Most Influential Calligraphers and Painters", and was honored as the "CCTV Brand Influence Calligrapher" on the 2016 China Good Brand Art Figure List.
