Growing up in this environment, he was deeply influenced by the family tradition, loved calligraphy, and his grandfather taught him personally. Since the age of eight, he studied the "Comprehensive Adages", copied famous steles and calligraphy works; early study (Ouyang Xun, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan,) Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi, Mi Fu, Wang Tingjian, Cai Yong, Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, Xianyu Shu, Liu Yong, Tiebao; later mainly studied the running script of the two Wangs, the cursive script pursued Zhang Xu, Huaisu, and the hard pen learned from modern masters Liang Jinying, Liang Dingguang. His calligraphy “comprehends various methods, and becomes one”, the works are elegant and vigorous, neat and fresh, widely collected by people from all walks of life.
