Personal Profile

Zhong Wei, a middle-aged calligrapher. Born in 1970, he is from Jieyang City, Guangdong. He is currently a member of the Shantou Calligraphy Association. He is also a member of the Shantou Hard Brush Association, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Shantou Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. He is the examiner for the national art and calligraphy grading in Shantou. Since childhood, he has practiced copying stone steles and character scripts, blending the styles of steles and scripts into one. His works are strong yet graceful, dignified yet elegant. They are calm yet full of charm, humble yet rich in personality.
