He Siyan, born in 1986 in Guangzhou, with the courtesy name Xun Miao, a rising oil painter,has loved painting since childhood,started formal painting lessons at the age of 8, and has been guided by teachers such as Guo Shaogang and Tan Dawei,member of the Southern Creation Center of the Chinese Artists Association, member of the Chinese Painting, Calligraphy and Photography Association, member of the Overseas Art Painting Association, invited painter of the Chinese Imagist Oil Painting Association, and specially appointed painter of Cui Wen Tang of Qinghua Station.She has won many awards in painting and design, and her works are collected by private individuals and museums. He Siyan likes oil painting, but is also attracted by the expressive power of traditional Chinese ink painting. She believes that oil painting, once introduced into China, should develop more unique regional characteristics and folk customs to better go global and let the international community understand the beauty of the East.She has integrated the features of Lingnan and local atmosphere into her oil paintings, giving people a brand new visual experience, which is a new attempt.She has incorporated elements of Chinese ink painting with rich colors, small freehand brushwork, and gold paper painting on the basis of oil painting, and is dedicated to studying the impact and collision between traditional Chinese ink painting and Western painting.
