Huang Yongjie, style name "Snail" (born in 1987)Guangdong Gaozhou native,Jiangxi Provincial Artist Association member of Ganzhou City,Jiangxi Province Artist Association member,Maoming City Artist Association member,Special painter of Maoming Calligraphy and Painting Academy,Graduated from the School of Fine Arts, Gannan Normal University in 2011.
He once studied oil painting, watercolor painting, Chinese painting, and seal carving under well-known painters and professors such as Lin Daofu, Xu Wenjun, Xie Ningning, and Lai Xiaoming.
Currently studying Chinese painting, his works have participated in provincial and city exhibitions multiple times and have won awards and been collected.
He deeply studies the famous paintings of the Tang and Song dynasties and thoroughly reads painting theories. His works are greatly influenced by the modern Chinese painting master Ma Liu Zhou and the director of Guangdong Painting Academy Xu Qinsong, making his works' style between traditional and modern. He once traveled to the western and northern regions, feeling and depicting the mountains and rivers of the west and north, taking the profound and rugged "Northern School" landscape as the foundation, building the atmosphere of grand mountains and rivers in his works, and expressing the sentiment of singing about the ancient and endless nature and the unending vitality of life. This state at the boundary of nature and the soul makes his works not only have discoveries from nature but also the refinement and concentration of natural forms, transforming them into symbols of spirit.
