 Li Guizhong, male, Han Chinese, born in 1973 in Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, graduated from the Southern Higher Normal College. He has been deeply interested in painting and calligraphy since childhood, and is skilled in flower and bird paintings. His works are vivid in form, proficient in brushwork, and full of wit and charm. His paintings of shrimp are rich in flavor, with simple and brisk brushstrokes, thick and heavy ink, and lively sentiment; his freehand peonies are elegant and noble, full of vitality. Over the years, through diligent study, hard work, and continuous practice, as well as guidance from famous artists, he has deepened his understanding of art and life, absorbing various beneficial nutrients, and has developed a personal style that is elegant, beautiful, refined, and subtle. His works are appreciated by the public and art lovers alike, and are widely collected. He has participated in many national painting and calligraphy competitions and has received honor certificates.
