Lu Zehong: Guangdong native. Graduated from Shantou University in 1995 with a major in fine arts. He has been studying calligraphy, Chinese painting, and seal carving since childhood. His Chinese paintings use the brushwork of calligraphy, and he is skilled in ink and color free-style flower paintings. His works have formed a unique personal style, which is loved and collected by institutions, units, and individuals. Currently serves as: Art Consultant of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Literary and Art Circles Federation, Director and Consultant of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles Painting Association, Senior Level Painter of the State, Signed Artist of China Education Television, Member of the Beijing Huaxia Wanzhihang Calligraphers and Painters Association, Honored Artist of the Chinese Painting Academy of Sydney, Australia, Painter of the Southern Guangdong Painting Academy, Member of the Guangdong Provincial Youth Fine Arts Association, and Member of the Shandong Provincial Collectors Association. His work was awarded the Selected Prize in the Shantou City Primary and Secondary School Students' Calligraphy Competition in 1989. His work was selected for the "Great Earth Rainbow Guangdong Province 2002 Art, Calligraphy, and Photography Joint Exhibition" in 2002. In 2005, his calligraphy work won the third prize in the First National News Industry Calligraphy Grand Exhibition. It was first exhibited at the China Military Museum in Beijing, then toured in Guangzhou and was published in a collection. In 2010, he was invited to participate in the art exhibition celebrating the 43rd anniversary of the establishment of the Meizhou Daily, the 30th anniversary of the Yangjiang Daily, and the 60th anniversary of the Langfang Daily, and his works were published in the newspapers. In 2011, his works were included in "The Collection of Calligraphy and Painting Masterpieces of Contemporary Chinese Artists," and his personal introduction was included in "The Complete Collection of Chinese Photographers," published by the People's Fine Arts Publishing House nationwide. In March 2015, his works "Lychee" and "Orchid" participated in the Japanese Calligraphy and Art Exchange Exhibition. In May 2015, he won the first prize in the "Praising the Beauty of Labor · Contributing to the Happiness of Jieyang" Jieyang City First Workers' Cultural Creation Series Photography Competition. In August 2015, he was invited to exhibit at the United Nations Headquarters Building in New York for the "United Nations 70• Chinese Contemporary Art Creative Design Achievements Exhibition." In October 2017, after comprehensive evaluation and recommendation by the "Belt and Road · Glorious China" Organizing Committee, he was appointed as a special associate editor of the editorial board. The album was published and distributed by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House. His calligraphy and painting works have been exhibited and participated in art exchange activities in Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other places, and his collectors are spread across the country.
