Wen Renjian, also known as Jinshan Painting Studio, founded the Yong'an School of Painting. Born in 1963 in Zijin County, Guangdong, he is a Senior Artistic Professional of the State, member of the Board of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, member of the China Artists Association, Research Fellow of the Art Department of the Ouyang Xiu Art Research Association, member of Huizhou Painting Academy, member of Heyuan City Art Association, and member of Heyuan City Calligraphy Association.
In 1984, his Chinese painting "Respecting the Elderly and Loving the Young" won the second prize in the Huoyang Region's Large Exhibition Competition, and participated in the Guangdong Province Cadres and Workers' Art Works Exhibition. That same year, many of his works were collected by the Dongguan Art Museum. In 1987, his movie poster was exhibited in the First Guangdong Provincial Art Exhibition "The Tragedy of M" and received an Excellent Award. In 1992, he participated in the Second Guangdong Provincial Movie Poster Art Exhibition "Ancient and Modern Great War of Love and Soul" and received an Excellent Award. In 1992, he participated in the first "Ouyang Xiu" Cup National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, winning the Bronze Award for his oil painting "The Poetic Quest," which was collected by the Ouyang Xiu Art Gallery. In 2007, his Chinese painting "Joyful Year of Abundance" was exhibited in the National Chinese Painting Exhibition organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and was collected by the Yantai Art Museum in Shandong. In 2009, his calligraphy work participated in the National Youth Teachers and Students' Art Exhibition hosted by the Youth Calligraphy Newspaper, winning the Gold Award in the Teacher Group. In 2010, his Chinese painting "Lantern Night" was exhibited in the 100 Chinese Painting Exhibition in Hong Kong and won the Silver Award. In 2018, his painting and calligraphy works won the Third Prize in the Fifth Lanting Micro Exhibition Competition. In 2019, he participated in the "Reverberating Humanity" Special Exhibition to Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, with his Chinese painting "Spring Comes to Wuxia" exhibited and collected by the Shenzhen Art Museum. His works are included in the "Classic Works of National Painting and Calligraphy Masters," "National Excellent Teacher's Art Works Collection," "Heyuan Art Works Collection," "Reverberating Humanity," and "Collection of National Painting and Calligraphy Masters." He has published "Selected Works of Wen Renjian's Chinese Paintings."
