Zou Qingyun is a member of the China International Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, and a calligraphy tutor of the China International Painting and Calligraphy Research Association; a member of the Board of Directors of the China Association of Calligraphers and Painters; a member of the Board of Directors of the China Calligraphers and Painters Council; Secretary-General of the China Huagang Painting and Calligraphy Culture Research Institute; a member of the Chinese Penmanship Association, a senior lecturer of the Chinese Penmanship Association, a distinguished teacher of penmanship education, a senior trainer of penmanship, and a senior registered teacher of standard character writing across the country; a registered calligraphy talent by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China, Editor-in-Chief of the CCTV Star Road Art Spring Festival Gala Network, and Vice Chairman of China Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Artists Network. From an early age, he has been deeply interested in calligraphy art, starting with the regular scripts of Yan, Liu and Ouyang, and then studying famous Han dynasty cursive scripts. His works are solid and solemn, vigorous and ancient, with open brushwork, sharp and elegant strokes, strict rules, and a rich sense of interest. He has won the first prize in the "Wang Anshi Cup" National Painting and Calligraphy Competition; the gold prize in the Third "Wangzi Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Competition; the bronze prize in the Fourteenth Overseas and Domestic Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Excellence Exhibition; the first prize in the "Eulogy of the Heroes, Dream of China" National Painting and Calligraphy Competition; and the first prize in the calligraphy category of the Tenth "Xizhi Cup" Contemporary Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Artists Invitation Competition. His works have been included in "The Great Compilation of Poems, Writings, Paintings and Calligraphy Works of the 'Eulogy of the Heroes, Dream of China' National Competition", "The Great Compilation of Chinese Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Artists of the 21st Century", and "A Concise Dictionary of Ten Thousand Painters and Calligraphers Across the Taiwan Strait", etc.
