Tan Guihua, also known as Moxuan, Zi Yizhai, is a young calligrapher from Guangdong Province, a mentor for the National Competition of Standard Chinese Characters for Young People, and the founder of the Guangzhou Mobaoxuan Art Education Chain Brand. He is currently a senior training instructor for the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Level Examination by the Ministry of Education, a senior lecturer in calligraphy by the Ministry of Culture, a registered lecturer for the Chinese Calligraphy Section of the National Preschool Art Level Examination, a senior training instructor for the Chinese Calligraphy Section of the National Preschool Art Level Examination, an excellent judge for the National Competition of Calligraphy by the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the Education Committee of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the Chinese Couplets Association, a director of the Chinese Art Education Association, a director of the Guangdong Calligraphers Association, a director of the Guangdong Calligraphy and Art Research Association, a member of the Guangdong Couplets Association, a member of the Guangdong Traditional Culture Promotion Association, a member of the Guangdong Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, and the Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Guangdong Mobaoxuan Cultural Development Co., Ltd. His works have been published in "China Calligraphy Education Network", "China Calligraphers Network", "China Art Education Newspaper", and "China Calligraphy News". In 2018, his calligraphy work was nationally distributed by the China Post Stamp Center.
Teacher Tan has always loved calligraphy since childhood, continuously dedicated to studying regular script, clerical script, and cursive script, carefully studying the structure, widely absorbing the strengths of various styles, and forming his own unique artistic style. His characters are elegant and graceful, with a free and easy style. As a young calligrapher, Teacher Tan is deeply loved by students, and he is a good teacher and friend to them. With many years of experience in calligraphy education, Teacher Tan has repeatedly led students to participate in calligraphy competitions at all levels, achieving outstanding results. The hard pen calligraphy textbook system established by him, Mobaoxuan Art Education, was promoted nationwide in 2019.
