Personal Profile
Guan Zerren, born in 1962, is from Yangjiang, Guangdong. He is the founder of Moyang Bayi Bookstore, the Secretary-General of Moyang Blue Sky Calligraphy Research Institute, a national first-grade art master, and a member of the Yangjiang Guan Shanguan Culture Research Association. He is also a professor of art at the Southern Painting and Calligraphy Academy. He is a network anchor of the [Moyang Bayi Bookstore] Education Alliance.
In 2018, his work won the Special Award in the 18th "Lushan Cup" Poetry, Painting, and Calligraphy Competition across the country and was awarded the honor of Outstanding Artist of the New Era by the organizing committee.
In June 2019, his work "Five Blessings Come to the Door" won the Creation Award at the Second Congress of the Global Artists' Union and received the Silver Award in the National "Belt and Road" China State Gift Cup Painting and Calligraphy Competition.
In October 2019, he was invited to participate in the calligraphy exhibition of 100 Chinese calligraphers and painters in Beijing, and his work won the award for outstanding works, and he was awarded the honor of [Artists with Virtue and Artistic Excellence].
In December 2019, after passing the examination of the national professional art talent evaluation committee and the national cultural relics evaluation and identification center for the art category projects, he has met the corresponding qualification level and was evaluated as a National First-Grade Art Master, major: calligraphy.

Guan Zerren's brushwork is not bound by traditional family methods: it is natural, not meticulous, smooth and free-spirited, showing individuality. He is proficient in regular script, running script, and cursive script. He has studied the calligraphy of various masters throughout history, absorbing their strengths, blending them into one, and forming his own unique style. Therefore, he has been highly praised and favored by a wide range of calligraphy collectors and enthusiasts. His representative work [Five Blessings Come to the Door] won the Creation Award at the Second Congress of the Global Artists' Union. His large-scale calligraphy works [Fu], [Shou], [Hai Na Bai Chuan], [Rong Tong Si Hai], [Deng Gao Wang Yuan], etc., have been framed and collected by calligraphy enthusiasts, overseas Chinese, and friends in the financial sector in Singapore.
