Personal Profile

Wan Huan, also known as Moqi Huan, a 90s-born inner painting artisan, graduated from Shaoyang University, and was a student of Wang Zhankang, a master of the Ji School of Inner Painting. She is the fourth-generation inheritor of the Ji School of Inner Painting, member of the Shenzhen Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, member of the Shenzhen Arts and Crafts Industry Association, and member of the Nasu Hu Research Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Association. Wan Huan focuses on creation and innovation, presenting her reflections on life, the world, and traditional skills through the perspective of a 90s person. Her use of color is very bold and expressive. She has representative works such as "Me and My Little Friends", "The Story of Spring", "Understanding", and the "Girl" series. She has innovatively developed inner painting starry sky jewelry, which has received praise from media such as the "Shenzhen Special Zone Daily" and the "Shenzhen Business Daily". This innovation was also included in the book "Contemporary Arts and Crafts of Shenzhen" published in December 2018.
