  Ye Xiaopeng joined the army in 1976, and has served as a soldier, deputy commander of a torpedo boat, staff officer, deputy political instructor of a fast boat squadron, political instructor of an landing ship, secretary of the General Staff Office of the South China Sea Fleet, and regimental political commissar, with the rank of Colonel. He transferred to the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau in 1999 and has now retired at the level of a vice department head.
	
		 Lifetime Vice President of the Chinese Poetry Association, member of the Chinese Poetry Society, Chinese Poetry Association, and the World Han Poetry Association "Poet Doctor", International Level I Poet. Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, Beijing Guodu Moyun Art Academy, and the World Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of the Chinese Buddhist Calligraphy Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Oriental Calligraphers Association, Senior Calligrapher of the Ministry of Culture, Senior Art Teacher of China's Hundred Cultural Networks. Art Director of Chinese Art Encyclopedia, Vice Chairman of the Artist Committee of China Poetry, Painting and Calligraphy Masters Network. His poetry and calligraphy works have won the Special Prize, First Prize and Gold Medal in many national brand competitions. His calligraphy works have been made into stamps and other postal products celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, titled "Collectible Edition Memorial Album" with global limited release. He is included in the "Chinese Cultural Inheritance Meritorious Figures Volume", "Dictionary of Contemporary Literature and Artistic Figures at Home and Abroad", and "Dictionary of Chinese Cultural and Artistic Style Figures".
