Fang Siquan, male, born in Chaozhou, Guangdong in 1949, is currently a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association; academician of the Academy of Contemporary Chinese Masters' Arts; president of the Cuiyuan Painting and Calligraphy Society of the Shantou Municipal Trade Union; member of the Shantou Senior Citizens (Elderly) Painting and Calligraphy Research Association; art consultant of the Huang Tingjian Calligraphy Art Association; vice president of the Chaozhou Branch of the Beijing Yuhanlin Painting and Calligraphy Academy, etc. Laojia has been engaged in art for decades, constantly refining his steps to return to one, that is, "painting with my own method to express my heart." He pursues a bold, thick, and grand freehand Chinese painting style full of modern significance, which the world calls "freehand painting."
