Personal Profile

Mr. Jiang Jianguo, pen name Shi Liang, graduated from the Graduate Class of the School of Chinese Painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and is a member of the Gansu Art Committee of the China Artists Association. He studied under Mr. Qi Liangfu, the direct descendant and heir of the master painter Qi Baishi, and received direct instruction in the authentic Qi-style painting technique. Mr. Jiang Jianguo, in his pursuit of painting art, has built upon the inheritance of the Qi-style tradition while pioneering innovations to develop his own distinctive artistic style, particularly excelling in ink shrimps, swimming fish, crabs, and lotus flowers, earning high praise from renowned masters in the art world.
