Zhang Yanshou

Zhang Yanshou, pen name Xianyun, is from Tianshui, Gansu, a council member of the People's Artists Association, a member of the Gansu Calligraphers Association, a member of the Gansu Network Culture Association, a member of the Tianshui City Calligraphers Association, a National First-Class Painter and Calligrapher, a researcher at the Renhe Institute of Painting and Calligraphy in Beijing, director of the Tianshui Editorial Office for People's Art Online and People's Political Report, and former honorary chief editor of China Qinzhou Net. Zhang Yanshou has studied the calligraphy of Wang Xizhi, Li Yong, Zhao Mengfu, Zeng Guofan, and others; his brushwork is elegant and fluid, rounded and rigorous, with vivid spirit and free variation. His works have been exhibited and awarded in numerous national, provincial, municipal, and district-level exhibitions and are cherished by calligraphy enthusiasts and collectors. He enjoys music, understands traditional Chinese medicine, and excels in poetry and prose, making him a multi-talented calligrapher.
