Personal Profile

Yan Dong, originally named Yan Xianghong, is a member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Masters Association, ordained with the Dharma name Dao Chang, and also known as the Master of Sanmen Studio. He is a Han Chinese male from Min County, Gansu. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and painting, diligently practicing classical calligraphy models under the guidance of Master Jiumei Jiacuo and renowned young calligrapher and painter Master Tuten. In recent years, his calligraphic skills have made remarkable progress, and his works have been well received by local art circles. He previously served in a military guard battalion and is now a jade carver; his jade artworks are highly favored by collectors in Xinjiang.
