 Xi Haipeng, art names "Jingqing," "Moyuan," and "Yixuan," self-styled as "Director of Shangya Art Gallery," "Xiuzhu Studio," "Lanshi Recluse," and "Anxiang Pavilion Master," was born into a scholarly family in Gansu's Xihé. He graduated from the Art Department of Jiangxi College of Ceramic Art and Craft, and furthered his studies at the China Academy of Art in 2012. He is currently a researcher of the Xihé County Poetry, Painting, and Calligraphy Research Association, a member of the Xihé County Wanxia Lake Art Society, a committee member of the Gansu Provincial Art Supplies Art Committee, a council member of the World Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, and a member of the Guangdong Provincial Artists Association. He is currently a professional painter and senior lecturer at the Lingnan Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about painting, calligraphy, and seal carving. He has diligently studied the techniques of ancient and modern masters such as Zheng Banqiao, Qi Baishi, Wu Changshuo, and Wang Xue Tao. He specializes in freehand-style flower-and-bird painting, with powerful, vigorous brushwork that is grand and unrestrained, transcending conventional forms. His works are fresh, elegant, and otherworldly, having been collected numerous times by the art community and widely cherished by the public……
