Wu Changsheng: Male, Han ethnicity, pen name: Ancient Longshang Man, born in July 1946, associate degree education. From Jingning County, Gansu Province, China; member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, researcher; vice president of the China Hanmo Art Research Institute; member of the Gansu Artists Association; member of the Pingliang City Artists Association. Has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood, with a particular fondness for landscape painting, employing the accumulated ink technique; his works are rugged yet refined and elegant, with smooth and natural brushlines, demonstrating solid traditional foundations. He has practiced calligraphy and painting diligently for forty years, continuously dedicating himself to the study and creation of landscape painting, drawing upon the artistic achievements of predecessors while constantly exploring new approaches. He has won multiple major awards, including the First Prize in the "3rd Xizhi Cup Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Invitational Competition," the First Prize in the "CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Channel Spring Festival Art Exhibition," the Outstanding Award in the "3rd Hope, Dream Cup National Chinese Painting Exhibition," and the Outstanding Award in the "Gansu Province Calligraphy and Painting Competition Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China," among others. He serves as an art advisor for the magazine "Xingyue Literature" and has had his works published multiple times in magazines such as "Art Square." He has held solo exhibitions in Gansu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Baotou, and other places, receiving consistent praise from peers in the calligraphy and painting community and great favor from collectors and art enthusiasts.
