Xu Hongsheng, styled Huangdong Yiwei, male, born in 1968, is currently a council member of the China National Painter's Association, Gansu Provincial Calligraphers Association member, Gansu Provincial Artists Association member, Qinghai Provincial Artists Association member, Executive Council member of the Gansu Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, Lanzhou City Calligraphers Association member, Lanzhou City Artists Association member, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the West Gu District Artists Association of Lanzhou City, Deputy Secretary-General of the West Gu Branch of the Lanzhou City Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairman of the Honggu Branch of the Lanzhou City Calligraphers Association, and Executive President of the Wenhai Calligraphy and Painting Academy of West Gu District, Lanzhou City. He graduated from the Advanced Research Class of the Western Education Base Training Center of the China Calligraphers Association in 2012 (lectured by renowned artists such as Zhang Gaiqin, Wang Yuechuan, Bu Xiyang, and Geng Jun). His calligraphy and painting works have been exhibited and awarded in numerous provincial and municipal exhibitions and are collected by multiple institutions and individuals. His works and resume have been included in several reference books and dictionaries; his peony paintings are permanently collected by the Lanzhou National Studies Museum, and he has been honored with the title of "Artists Who Contribute Love" by municipal and provincial charitable organizations and relevant units.
