Cao Qing, styled Shanzi, art name Tian Ti Shan Ren. Gansu Wuwei native. Professional painter and calligrapher. Council member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association. Researcher at the China Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute. Council member of the Capital Academy of Painting. Member of the Gansu Artists Association.
Founded "Qingfeng Art Studio" in 1996, dedicating himself to the study and creation of Chinese painting and calligraphy. Focused on the research and exploration of western landscape painting, drawing inspiration primarily from the Qilian Mountains and plateau scenery of the Hexi Corridor. Also practices flower-and-bird painting and calligraphy, employing a brushwork language that integrates traditional and modern, realistic and expressive techniques.
