Personal Profile

Zhang Zhengxi, male, Han ethnicity, born in April 1955, with a college diploma, physician, from崆峒 District, Pingliang City, Gansu Province.First-class Calligrapher; his work won the Bronze Award in the Jin Ding Art Award National Painting Competition hosted in August 2018 by Contemporary Artists Network and Beijing Contemporary Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, and the Contemporary Calligraphers Network. In October 2018, he was appointed as a member of the Beijing Contemporary Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, and his work won the Bronze Award in the First Hanmo Dangan National Calligraphy and Painting Competition hosted by the Beijing Contemporary Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy, diligently self-taught, diligently researched, and persistently pursued improvement. In October 2017, he successfully entered and won the Excellent Award in the China-Australia Twin Cities Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition jointly organized by the Kaifeng Sotheby’s Cultural Development Center and the Australian Calligraphers Association.
