 Lv Xuansheng, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1965, from Xihé County, Longnan City, Gansu Province. Currently a member of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association, a specially appointed calligrapher of the China Calligraphy Academy, China Art Research Institute, and a first-class calligrapher. Member of the China International Calligraphy and Painting Association. Research fellow of the China Calligraphy Education Society, vice president of the Gansu Boyuan Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and council member of the Cultural Relics and Four Treasures of the Study Committee of the Gansu Collection Association. Member of the Calligraphy and Painting Academy of the CCTV Education Channel program "Ink and Wash Danqing Master Forum".  Under the profound influence of traditional Chinese culture and family education, he developed a strong interest in calligraphy from an early age, studied diligently and tirelessly, achieving outstanding results. In his study of calligraphy, he follows the styles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, draws widely from diverse sources, roots himself in tradition, and strives for innovation. Over decades, he has extensively explored various script styles, meticulously studied every major calligraphy exhibition, gradually broadening his vision and aesthetic perspective. He practices daily without ever slackening, gradually perceiving the new spirit of the times through persistent adherence to tradition. He has developed his own distinctive style of calligraphy—elegant, dynamic, yet magnificently grand. Some of his works have been published in numerous media outlets including China.com, Sina Weibo, Jiangnan Times Network, Baidu Official Website, Phoenix News Network, Gansu Daily, Toutiao, Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper, Longnan Daily, Huaxi Metropolitan Daily Network, Shanghai Times, Jiangsu Commercial News Network, Yangzi Evening News Network, Consumption Daily, Chongqing Daily, Taiyuan Evening News Network, Market Herald, Nanjing Daily, and China Financial Times. His works have also been included in large-scale books publicly distributed through Xinhua Bookstores nationwide. In 2012, he was honored as a "Model Figure" in Gansu Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Art. His small regular script transcription of the complete "Laozi's Tao Te Ching" was exhibited at the "4th China Qiqiao Cultural Tourism Festival" National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. He won the Outstanding Award at the 4th Gansu Provincial "Hundred Artists Exhibition". He received the Bronze Award at the 6th China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition. In 2015, he won the Silver Award at the 7th China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition and the First Prize at the national poetry, calligraphy, and painting competition "Chinese Dream, Praises to Great Figures". In 2016, he received the Third Prize in the "True Skill Cup" Regular Script Challenge Competition organized by the China Calligraphy Education Society. He won the Gold Award at the Huayuan National Exhibition of Calligraphy and Painting by Hundreds of Generals and Ministers in Shanghai. He received the Special Prize in the "Golden List of Contemporary Chinese Literary and Artistic Masters and Masterpieces". He won the First Prize at the 7th "Xizhi Cup" National Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Invitational Competition and the Gold Award at the 6th "Yanhuang Cup" International Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Carving Competition. He received the Special Prize in the 2016 National Selection of Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Works. He was invited to participate in the 2016 China Contemporary Literary and Artistic Masters Summit Forum held at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.
