 Shao Weiwén, male, born in 1983, from Lanzhou, Gansu, holds a university degree. A young calligrapher, member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, permanent director and creative committee member of the Shaanxi Yixuan Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and professional calligrapher. He received an exhibition award in the First Filial Piety and Virtue Culture Calligraphy Competition, and was honored as a "Leading Figure of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Art" and a "Celebrity on the China Philatelic List" in the exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of Reform and Opening-up (1978–2018)... Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about calligraphy, immersed in the sea of scholarly works, diligently studying the masters such as the Two Wangs, and has practiced for over two decades without interruption, pursuing his art with unwavering dedication, thus laying a solid foundation in brushwork and ink technique. Drawing inspiration from ancient and modern masters, he has researched the techniques of running and cursive scripts, accumulated creative materials from life, and sought innovation within tradition, producing countless works. After years of careful contemplation and rigorous practice, he has thoroughly comprehended the subtleties of brushwork. His brushstrokes are composed, serene, and elegant, each stroke forming a distinct artistic intent; his ink flows freely and abundantly, with strong structure and resilience, blending strength within gentleness, and presenting a graceful posture.
