Personal Profile

Zhang Congguang, style name Dingwei, pen name Longjie. Gansu Tongwei native, graduated from Gansu Art School, specializing in regular, running, cursive, and seal scripts, with particular expertise in cursive script. Currently a member of the China Federation of Famous Artists and Calligraphers, Beijing Renhe Academy of Calligraphy and Painting Academician, member of Sandianxuan Calligraphy and Painting Network, and China Good Brand Influential Calligrapher. Awards and Honors ● In 2007, won an Excellent Award in the Gansu Tongwei County 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC Steel-Pen Calligraphy Competition. ● In December 2009, won the "Best Calligraphy Award" at the employee competition hosted by Huadu Group in Beijing. ● In 2015, won the Third Prize in the Annual Finals of the National Calligraphy Art Online Competition organized by the Education Guidance Center of the China Steel-Pen Calligraphy Association, Youth Calligraphy Magazine, and the National Calligraphy Art Online Competition Organizing Committee. ● In March 2016, was shortlisted in the Second National Ten-Thousand-Person Calligraphy and Steel-Pen Calligraphy Online Competition hosted by the China Steel-Pen Calligraphy Association, China Steel-Pen Calligraphy Daily, and the official website of the China Steel-Pen Calligraphy Association. ● In October 2016, won an Excellent Award in the 5th National Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Competition. ● In August 2017, was listed in the authoritative Chinese Calligraphers Encyclopedia. ● In November 2017, received the title of "HAOBRAND Influential Calligrapher" on the HAOBRAND Art Figures Ranking by China Good Brand. ● In January 2018, his work was included in the China Post Limited Edition Collectible Album "The Belt and Road ● Chinese Dream" stamp issuance event and was rated as a Contemporary Chinese Master Calligrapher by China Philatelic Group.
