Li Yaogui, also known as Li Xinwen, male, Han ethnicity, was born in 1993 in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. Member of the Gansu Artists Association, specially appointed instructor at the Baiyun Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Gansu Province, member of the Karamay City Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, National Level Four Artistic Technician. In 2016, he won the Excellent Award at the "11th National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition"; in 2018, he won the Second Prize at the "National Public Security Organs Calligraphy and Painting Competition". His works have been unanimously recognized by the Gansu Provincial Artists Association and the Shaanxi Provincial Artists Association. Works such as "Sharing the Storm," "Good Fortune Arrives," "The Phoenix Seeks the Phoenix," "Four-Panel Screen: Sunny, Rainy, Windy, Snowy," "The Horse Emerges from the Dragon," and "Four Panels of Wealth and Honor" have been collected by the Gansu Provincial Artists Association. He is especially skilled in landscape, bird-and-flower painting, peonies, red bamboo, the Three Friends of Winter, camels, and horses. His technique is unique, blending various styles into a refined elegance within a simple, unpretentious form.
