 Wei Jingda, styled Haodong, art name Zhenhu, studio name 【Nanshan Fang】. Born in 1981 in Gansu Jingyuan. Began practicing calligraphy at age seven, and at twelve became a disciple of the renowned Gansu calligrapher Master Yu San. In 2003, enrolled at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, studying under Professors Liu Yongjie, He Rongmin, Jiang Yixiang, Wang Baoan, and Qiao Yinan. In 2009, enrolled at the Calligraphy Academy of China Art Academy, studying under Masters Liu Zhengcheng, Wang Yong, Wo Xinghua, and He Yinghui. From September 2010 to July 2013, studied at Shaanxi Normal University under Professor Huo Youming, pursuing a degree in Tang and Song Literature. Currently serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Literature at Shaanxi Normal University (Director of the Literati Painting Research Room), Secretary-General of the Huo Songlin National College, member of the Chinese Society for Tang Dynasty Literature, member of the Chinese Poetry Society, member of the Chinese Couplet Society, researcher at the Academy of Chinese Culture at Sichuan University, Vice President of Dunhuang Shangshuyuan, member of the Shaanxi Poetry Society, member of the Shaanxi Artists Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Baiyin City Calligraphers Association, and Director of the Xi'an Branch of the China Calligraphy and Painting Creation Academy.
