Chen Juncheng (pen name: Chen Jun, style name: Zhongxi, art name: Longwei Zhongren)Gansu native from Longxi County, has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood, studying the styles of the Two Wangs, Huaisu, and several senior masters in running and cursive script. Over the years, he has received guidance and assistance from many renowned calligraphers and painters. His paintings focus on freehand brushwork; he dedicates himself to earnest study and persistent practice, emphasizing tradition while seeking innovation! His first artwork won the Second Prize in the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Mao Zedong’s Birth! Currently a member of the Hami Yizhou District Elder Artists Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Vice Secretary-General and Director of the Weihe Calligraphy and Painting Academy Association, and a First-Class Artistic Master! In 2018, he won the Outstanding Award at the 10th National Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Competition! In 2019, he won the Gold Award in the Calligraphy and Painting Category of the "Spring Festival Cup" National Fine Art Exhibition! In 2019, he was awarded the title of First-Class Artistic Master! In 2019, he won the Silver Award in the "Yingcai Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition Competition hosted by the Hundred Artistic Masters for his work "Qinyuanchun · Snow"!
