Personal Profile
Qi Junyi has loved painting and calligraphy since childhood. He studied at the Advanced Research Class of the Fine Arts Department at Tsinghua University. He is a national first-class artist, vice president of the Chinese National Art People's Painting Academy, and council member of the Chinese National Painting Academy. Member of the Gansu Provincial Artists Association, member of the China Education Television Network's Ink and Wash Danqing Painting Institute. Member of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles Artists Association. Council member of the China International Calligraphers and Painters Association. Council member of the Baiyin Artists Association in Gansu Province.

On June 10, 2020, his work "Unity Against the Epidemic" won the first prize in the event titled "Saluting 'Anti-Epidemic' Heroes —— Actions of the People's Artists," hosted by Beijing Shenyi Painting and Calligraphy Academy and the People's Artist Committee.
In September 2019, his work "Defending the Borderland" won the first prize in the "Moving Forward with the Motherland" exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, jointly organized by the Propaganda Department and United Front Work Department of the 10th Division Beilun City Party Committee.
In August 2019, his work "Mountain Village" was exhibited in the Chinese painting exhibition "Silk Road Ink Rhyme, Magnificent Great Pass" held by the Gansu Provincial Artists Association.
In October 2018, his work "Guardian Soldier" was exhibited in the Chinese painting exhibition "Lavender Rendezvous" held by the Gansu Provincial Artists Association.
In August 2019, his work "Great Leader of an Era" was exhibited in the painting and calligraphy exhibition "Gansu Province Veterans Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation," jointly organized by the Provincial Propaganda Department, Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Provincial Department of Veterans Affairs.
In March 2020, works such as "Zhongnanshan," "Mission on the Shoulder, Giving Great Love," "Lazi Pass," and the paper "Brushwork and the Times" were published in a full-page feature in Lanzhou Evening News.

In April 2018, his work "Defending the Motherland, Prosperous Lishui" won the bronze award in the national painting and calligraphy exhibition "Magnificent China, Wonderful Lishui" held by the Jiangsu Provincial Artists Association.

In December 2018, his work "Fragrance of Ink" won the silver award in the 2018 Spring Festival Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition "Green Development • Ecological Prosperity" jointly held by the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Provincial Artists Association.
In June 2017, his work "Tianshui Peach Blossom Mountain" was selected for the National Painting and Calligraphy Competition "Magnificent Gansu" (Gansu Provincial Artists Association).
The work "After the Three Armies Passed, All Faces Lit Up with Joy" received an excellence award in the national painting and calligraphy competition "Academic School Classic" held by the Gansu Provincial Artists Association.
