Personal Profile

Liu Kai, male, Han ethnicity, CPC member, was born in 1988 in Zhaojiabao Village, Sheshu Township, Wen County, Gansu. He graduated from Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a junior college degree. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and has long regarded calligraphy art as a great pleasure and hobby in his spiritual life. Over the years, he has persistently practiced the brushwork of renowned masters throughout history. He has participated in numerous large-scale national calligraphy and painting competitions, and in 2017 and 2018, he won the Outstanding Award at the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In July of the same year, he received the Outstanding Award from Henan’s One-Hundred-Thousand Art and Culture “The Third Lanting Micro-Exhibition.” In August 2020, his work “Yi Jian Mei” received an exhibition certificate from the China Calligraphers and Painters Association (Adult Category) and successfully became a member of the Adult Category of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association.
