Personal Profile
Cao Guiqin, born in Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is a National First-Class Artist, a council member of the Northwest Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute of Gansu Province, and a council member of the Shanghai Painting Academy.
Personal Honors
Her work won the Third Prize in the Provincial Calligraphy and Fine Arts Exhibition "Zhongsheng Ji (Chicken) Celebration Cup" in 2015.
In 2016, she received the Excellent Award in the 3rd Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition "Chinese Dream, Labor Beauty".
She won an award in the "Great Beauty of Gansu International Painting, Calligraphy and Photography Exhibition".
Selected Works
Work "Thunder Awakens Spring" was selected for the national Chinese painting exhibition "Bi Hong Spirit" hosted by the China Artists Association.
Work "Thunder Awakens Spring Series--2" was selected for the national Chinese painting exhibition "Mingde · He Rong" 2015 hosted by the Chinese Painting Society and collected by the organizing committee.
Work "The East Wind Brings Full Spring" was selected for the First National Chinese Painting Exhibition "I Love Danqing".
Work "Harmonious Homeland" was selected for the 2nd National Chinese Painting (Flower-and-Bird Painting) Exhibition "Danqing Yangzhou" hosted by the China Artists Association and collected by the organizing committee.
Works such as "Lotus Pond Charm", "Good Fortune and Auspiciousness", "Pure Melody", "The East Wind Brings Full Spring", "Golden Lotus Emerging from Earth", "Silent Speech", and "Richness and Longevity" have been collected by relevant institutions and individuals.
