  Wang Zhengxian, male, born on May 3, 1966, graduated from the Journalism Department of the Central Radio and Television College with a bachelor’s degree.
Currently resides in Gansu. National Gift Calligrapher, member of the China Calligraphers Association (Hong Kong), Vice Chairman of the China Poets, Painters and Calligraphers Association, member of the Gansu Writers Association, member of the Chinese Essayists Association, and member of the World Society of Prose Poetry. CCTV New Media field reporter and editor. Currently serves as Deputy Producer of the program "Dialogue with Brands" on China Central Television. Executive Editor of "Calligraphy and Painting Collection Newspaper".
He began practicing regular and small seal script calligraphy since elementary school. He has meticulously copied classics such as the "Liqi Stele," "Cao Quan Stele," "Shengjiao Sequence," "Lantingji Xu," and "Shupu." He has also studied the calligraphy of Yu Youren. Calligraphy and literature have occupied most of his life in learning, especially calligraphic techniques and theoretical knowledge. Wang Zhengxian pursues both literature and calligraphy simultaneously; his literary work "The Desert—My Lover" has been collected by the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature.
From 1989 to 1991, he worked at the Qinghai Oilfield Bureau, where he was awarded the title of "Outstanding Correspondent" in the same year. In 1992, he received the title of "Advanced Individual in Spiritual and Material Civilization" from the Oilfield Bureau. In 1993, he joined the China Yanhuang Culture Research Association and served as a researcher for the Social Research Department of the State Council Development Research Center. In 2008, he became Executive Editor of "Calligraphy and Painting Collection Newspaper" in Jinhua City, Zhejiang.
In 2013, his work won first prize in the National Huaxia Sentiment Poetry and Prose Competition.
In 2014, he won first prize in the National Contemporary Art Calligraphy Competition.
In 2015, his work received the Special Prize in the National Contemporary Artists Competition.
In 2017, he was honored as one of the "Key Recommended Model Artists in Celebration of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China."
In 2018, he received the Merit Award at the China Calligraphy and Painting Spring Festival Gala National Tour Exhibition, and the Gold Medal at the Poetry, Painting, and Calligraphy Exhibition Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up. His calligraphy work "Fu."
He was awarded the Gold Medal for "Most Collectible Value" at the 2019 China Calligraphy and Painting Spring Festival Gala. In 2020, his calligraphy work was issued as a personalized commemorative postage stamp by China Post.
