Personal Profile
Pei Yufeng, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1966, from Tianshui, Gansu Province. A retired rural teacher who has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood, he has devoted over thirty years to diligent practice in the sea of ink, studying under Zhou Bengang, mentor of the Advanced Creation Research Class on Chinese Calligraphy and Painting at the Art College of Renmin University of China.
Currently:
Member of the Gansu Provincial Artists Association;
Member of the Gansu Provincial Rural Calligraphy and Painting Research Association;
Standing Director of the Tianshui Branch of the Gansu Provincial Rural Calligraphy and Painting Research Association;
Member of the Tianshui City Artists Association;
Member of the Tianshui City Peony Calligraphy and Painting Academy.

In September 2018, participated in the exhibition “Celebrating the Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival: First Gansu Rural Calligraphy and Painting Invitational Exhibition,” co-hosted by the Gansu Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Gansu Provincial Rural Calligraphy and Painting Research Association; his award-winning work was collected by the organizing committee and a certificate was awarded;
In May 2019, commissioned by the Gansu Provincial Rural Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, attended the National Rural Painting Exhibition and Theoretical Seminar “Beautiful Countryside: Birch Encounter” in Jilin;
In July 2019, participated in the “National Symposium on Chinese Rural Painting and Gansu Qingcheng Creative Backbone Training Class,” jointly hosted by the Gansu Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Gansu Provincial Rural Calligraphy and Painting Research Association in Qingcheng;
In November 2019, participated in the exhibition “Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China: First Gansu Rural Painting Exhibition,” co-organized by the Gansu Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Gansu Provincial Rural Calligraphy and Painting Research Association; his work won an Excellence Award and was exhibited in touring shows at the Gansu Art and Culture Museum, Qingcheng, Dingxi, and other locations;
In June 2020, participated in the “Gansu Rural Painting Creation Training Class,” co-hosted by the Gansu Provincial Artists Association and the Gansu Provincial Rural Calligraphy and Painting Research Association in Dingxi City, and was rated as an Outstanding Student.
