Chen Kaiké
Personal Profile
Chen Kaike, male, born in 1979, from Datian, Fujian, is a member of the Fuzhou Lacquer Art Association. He graduated from the College of Arts and Crafts at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in 2004, completed graduate coursework at the School of Art, Fujian Normal University in 2007, and finished the first High-Level Training Program on Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection: Fuzhou Lacquer Art in 2016. He studied under Master Liu Kerens and specializes in lacquer painting. Currently, he serves as a lecturer at the Oriental College of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, teaching foundational courses in art design.
Awards
In 2013, "Wuji—Boundary" won the Gold Prize at the 8th Jiangxi Lacquer Painting Exhibition and was collected by Nanchang 791 Art Museum;
In 2013, "Terraced Fields—Rural Melody I" won the Bronze Prize at the 6th Fujian Lacquer Painting Exhibition;
