Personal Profile
Huang Junqing, born in October 1970, is from Fujian Quanzhou.
In 1995, he graduated with outstanding achievements from the Oil Painting Department of the Fine Arts School at Xiamen University and remained at the university to work. In 2006, he obtained a Master’s degree in Oil Painting. He is among the first graduates of Xiamen University to sign a contract with an art institution.
Since 2012, he has created a large number of watercolor works, which have been exhibited both domestically and internationally, and have been prominently featured in domestic art academic publications and websites such as Northwest Watercolor. He is currently a council member and one of the founding researchers of the Shaanxi Institute of Contemporary Watercolor and Gouache Art, as well as an advisor to the first Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone Artists Association. His representative works include XMU Biology Building and the series University and Taiwu.
