Zhang Yiqing began learning her craft at the age of three and has carried on the tradition for decades. With just a pair of scissors and a carving knife, she seamlessly integrates paper-cutting, calligraphy, and landscapes, skillfully combining traditional techniques with revolutionary sentiments to create folk paper-cut art bearing distinct marks of red culture, which earned her a special feature interview by Ganzhou Hakka News Network. Her complete series of paper-cuts based on Chairman Mao's poetry, along with various renowned calligraphy pieces rendered in paper-cut form, have been exhibited across platforms in Ganzhou City and Huichang County, and were also displayed as outstanding works at the Third Women's Congress of Ganzhou City.
