Huang Zhenshan Painter and Calligrapher Born in 1952 in Fujian . Has over a decade of teaching experience in middle school art. Arrived in Beijing in the early 1980s, later furthered studies at Tsinghua University's Advanced Chinese Painting Research Program. Currently a designated artist for state gifts of the People's Republic of China, Member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, Member of the China Mao-style Calligraphers Association, Vice President of the "Ink and Wash" Academy, CCTV Education Channel, Invited Guest on CCTV's "Famous People Forum", In-house Calligraphy and Painting Advisor for CCTV's "Influence China Tour", Director of the Beijing Xuanhe Institute of Calligraphy and Painting, Art Consultant for Beijing Craft Spirit Culture and Media Co., Ltd.
His artworks were selected for the 3rd Beijing International Art Biennale and the 9th National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In 2016, his calligraphy work "Qinyuanchun · Changsha" won first prize at the "Splashing Ink, Chinese Sentiment" event hosted by CCTV Education Channel. His work "Water Town Wuzhen" won first prize at the 2016 Great Love China Calligraphy and Painting Alliance International Charity Exhibition. In 2016, to commemorate the 37th anniversary of Sino-U.S. diplomatic relations, his calligraphy works "Qinyuanchun · Xue" and the character "Shou" (Longevity) were selected by the U.S. Postal Group for inclusion in a commemorative album and postage stamps, issued in multiple countries. He was also honored as "Outstanding Chinese Artist".
He has held multiple solo exhibitions at the National Culture Museum, Beijing International Hotel, and Ink and Wash Academy. In 2018, his works were repeatedly featured in the military magazine "Divine Arrow". He has been interviewed and reported on by multiple online media platforms including Baidu, Collection Network, and Tencent. Through decades of diligent study, his works exhibit bold and free compositions, expressive and fluid brushwork, and a natural, effortless elegance, gradually forming a distinctive style that integrates spirit, energy, bone, flesh, and blood. Over three hundred of his works are cherished and collected by renowned performers, business leaders, and professors from Beijing's top universities.
