Yan Xiaopu, painter, lyricist, and clothing designer. Researcher of Central Plains Think Tank. Special professor of Fujian Mushi Mengzi Academy, and art advisor of Fujian Mengzi Culture Development Promotion Association. In 2016, one of her works was collected by the Sultan's Palace in Medan, Indonesia. In 2017, the painting exhibition "Butterfly Transformation - Yan Xiaopu's Painting Works" was held at the National Treasure Art Gallery in Shanghai.
Yan Xiaopu was born into a family of scholars. Under the influence of her father, she has been well-versed in knowledge since childhood, passionately devoted to arts, and deeply in love with calligraphy and painting. After decades of learning and practical creation, she became a disciple of Jia Haoyi, a famous Chinese painter and the founder of the very bold freehand style. Yan Xiaopu integrates the female perspective's keen insight and distinct personality into her paintings, creating a unique painting language that blends Chinese impressionism and abstract expressionism, thus forming her own artistic style in painting.
In 2016, she won the second place of "China Madame" in Henan Province.
In 2016, she received the "International Elegant Madame" crown in Singapore.
In 2012, her clothing design series "Yu Yu Ni Chang" - "Han Style White Jade, Ancestral Spirit" won the Best Creative Award at the China Lu Zizang Cup.
In 2012, she was the "Guide Staff Sign Designer" for the Seventh China Farmers' Games.
In 2017, her works were invited to participate in the celebrity exhibition of the 120th anniversary of Commercial Press in Beijing.
