Personal Profile

Huang Huizhen (courtesy name: Xiuzhen), born in 1964, is originally from Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, and currently resides in Beijing. Since childhood, she has been deeply passionate about Shoushan stone carving art and fascinated by the masterpieces of earlier masters. At the age of 17, she became a disciple of renowned masters Wang Yanquan and Lin Xunduo to learn carving techniques, while independently studying seal carving, diligently practicing and absorbing diverse styles from predecessors and peers. Shoushan stone has become the very medium that evokes all her emotions and aspirations, forging an unbreakable bond between her and the stone. She has been engaged in Shoushan stone carving and seal carving art for over 30 years. She has been invited multiple times to participate in China's National Masterpieces of Arts and Crafts Expo, winning numerous gold and silver awards. She has carved seals for many national leaders, military personnel, entrepreneurs, and painting-calligraphy teachers. Many of her works have been collected by institutions and individuals both domestically and internationally. Currently, she primarily deals in Shoushan stone, Hetian jade, jadeite, calligraphy, painting, and seal carving. Her mission is to promote traditional Chinese culture, to make friends through jade, calligraphy, painting, and seal carving, to cultivate good connections with gratitude and in harmony with the times, and to collaborate for mutual development!
