  Shi Qiquan, born in Linzhou City, Henan Province, currently works in Anyang City, Henan Province. He holds a bachelor's degree and is a senior teacher as well as the academic leader in fine arts for Anyang City. He is a member of the China-Malaysia Art Research Institute and a researcher in painting and calligraphy at the same institute; he also serves as a standing committee member of the National Federation of Famous Artists in Calligraphy and Painting. Additionally, he is a member of the "Ink and Color" Academy of Art affiliated with China Education Television (CETV). In 2018 and 2019, he was invited to participate in the live recording of CETV's Spring Festival Gala.        In terms of painting techniques, he advocates inclusiveness and integration, drawing on the strengths of various schools to improve his own skills. His artworks primarily focus on colorful ink landscape paintings along with freehand-style peonies and birds-and-flowers compositions. His creations follow nature as their model, pursuing a fresh, elegant, refined, delicate, flexible, and varied artistic style. His paintings embody profound Chinese cultural spirit and an aesthetic orientation rooted in natural charm. In his creative process, he emphasizes combining traditional techniques with modern brushwork methods. In his works, one can perceive both the robustness characteristic of northern Chinese landscape painting and the elegance and gracefulness typical of southern Jiangnan landscapes.
For many years, he has consistently maintained rigorous foundational training, achieving significant progress in his painting skills. His work has been featured on websites such as Baidu, Sina, Phoenix News, Sohu, Dongfang Toutiao, Toutiao News, and People's Daily New Media. His artworks are widely appreciated and collected by art enthusiasts both domestically and internationally.
