Personal Profile

Zhang Lizhi (formerly known as Zhang Fengyan) is a female with ancestral roots in Jilin. Currently a member of the Beijing Calligraphers Association and the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association. I have loved calligraphy and poetry since childhood. After more than 40 years of studying Chinese calligraphy, I have a special fondness for Han Dynasty calligraphy. Representative steles of the Han Dynasty's clerical script, such as the Cao Quan Stele, the Zhang Qian Stele, and the Shimen Song, are available. For decades, like a day, my heart follows my hands. By drawing on the strengths of various schools of thought, we have gradually developed a simple and profound self style that is both gentle and natural. The font is not subject to carving, with a degree of relaxation, containing a leisurely and elegant atmosphere, as well as a quaint and sincere charm. It is rich in interest, powerful, realistic, strong in brushwork, grand in tone, and full of charm! Harmony between movement and stillness, harmony between heaven and man. With her innate understanding, her comprehension of Chinese calligraphy has risen to the philosophical level. The calligraphy style presents a grand atmosphere of Hanli calligraphy! Learned from renowned figures in the Chinese calligraphy industry such as Mr. He Kaixin, one of the "Three Projects". Truly a woman who is not inferior to men!
