Currently: Director of the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture, member of the Chinese Artists Association, member of the Hunan Calligraphers Association, member of the Hunan Provincial Calligraphers Association, consultant of the Huangpu Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Vice President of the Qingfeng Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Vice President of the Shenzhou Sunshine Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of the Hunan Provincial Elderly Calligraphers Association, member of the Changsha Calligraphers Association, and specially appointed calligrapher of the Hunan Provincial Collectors Association.
Since childhood, I have had a passion for calligraphy and painting, and have studied calligraphy by famous calligraphers of all dynasties. I mainly focus on clerical script and have researched and mastered the five body calligraphy, all of which have been to the extreme. My personal works have been carved in temples, and I have participated in more than 80 national and provincial calligraphy and painting competitions and exhibitions, winning various awards. In 2017, I was hired as a contracted artist for the Art Shadow Program of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. Some of my works have been exhibited and permanently collected by the China International Yangtze River Celebrity Collection, Hunan University, and Long Island University in the United States. Mr. Lei Changsheng is willing to engage in public welfare and has donated all the proceeds from several donations to impoverished students. He won first prize in the National Calligraphy Network Competition, excellent award in the 4th National Calligraphy Competition of Chinese Style, first prize in the National Calligraphy Competition to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Anti Japanese War, gold award in the National Calligraphy Exhibition to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Red Army's expedition in Beijing, and was admitted to the Guangxi Beilin Academy for carving "When Will the Bright Moon Come...". He also served as the 2017 World Tourism City Image Ambassador for the China Zone, won the International Gold Award for the Yangshahu Cup Ink Painting, and won the Excellent Award in the 2018 National Diamond Sutra Calligraphy Competition. Multiple sets of domestic and international collection stamps have been issued.
