Chen Zhongliang, born in 1951, is a professional painter,HunanMember of the Provincial Artists Association. In 1999, the traditional Chinese painting "Qingfeng Tu" won the second prize in the calligraphy and painting exhibition commemorating the 2550th anniversary of Confucius organized by the National Artists Association. In 2000, the traditional Chinese painting "Hibiscus in China" won the Excellent Award in the Hunan Provincial Secretariat Painting and Calligraphy Competition. In 2004, the Chinese painting "No Desire" won the second prize in the National Transportation Painting and Calligraphy Competition. In 2007, the traditional Chinese painting "Spring in Dongting Lake" won the second prize in the "Dongting Cup" National Elderly Painting and Calligraphy Competition, focusing on environmental protection and loving our famous lake. In 2008, the traditional Chinese painting "Chasing the Sun" won the Olympics. Third prize in the National Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Competition to commemorate the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up. And included in the compilation of "Love in Ink Painting - Selected Works of National Strength Middle aged and Elderly Calligraphers and Painters". In 2008, the traditional Chinese painting "Grapes" was exhibited at the "3rd Canadian Chinese Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Exhibition" held in Peking University and Vancouver.
