Personal Profile
Tan Yan'an, born in August 1974HunanChaling County in the province, currently a member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a registered senior teacher of national standardized character writing, a director and researcher of the China Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Association and the Hanmo Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and a former member of the Color Ink Landscape Painting Academy (Mr. Zeng Gang). Studied under the renowned calligrapher and painter Mr. Tang Xiangzi and the famous colored ink landscape painter Mr. Zeng Gang.
I have loved painting and calligraphy since I was young, and often travel to the mountains to sketch and collect a large amount of creative materials. Starting from the age of eight, I persisted in using the teacher's leftover chalk to practice writing, drawing trees, flowers, birds, and rocks in front of the old house in the drying field. I remember when I was a child, my dad spent money to buy a calligraphy brush and often picked up some waste paper for me to practice. He used to practice alone until he forgot to sleep or eat. After finishing his homework at night, he secretly practiced until midnight. I remember my dad got the mustard seed garden painting sheet and Wang Xizhi's running script from somewhere, and at that time, he dreamed of copying them all night like a treasure.
Personal growth experience
1987年在小学期间参加全学区的毛笔书法获了唯一的第一名。
1993年至94年在成都一所美校学习人物专业。
由于家境未读完，无奈跟着叔叔们去Hainan务工，茫茫人海刚入社会顿感迷茫就那时学会了室内装潢，挣了些钱就偷偷跑到海南大学偷听教授的美术课，和同学们混熟了后也跟着他们进入画室练习静物写生，石膏像写生，真人写生..
经过自身不断的努力与学习之下，创作出以下具备代表性的书法及山水画类作品。
书法类：《雪泉润万物》《春风得意马蹄疾》《山韵》《飘动的梦》《飞来的幸福》。山水画类：《乡山水秀丽江南》《瑞气呈祥》《梦回家乡》《梦里雪山春》
95年结识书画家汪堃老师，美术评论员，研究员。我向汪堃老师讨教，就那时接触了油画…同年画过广告画、宣传画。
2008年在Zhejiang温州第一次参加书法比赛获得优秀奖。
2010年参加温州瓯海几十家大型企业书画展示获得国画二等奖，硬笔书法三等奖。
2012年至2014年参温州各大企业书画比赛获国画第一名三次，第二名两次等奖项。
2014年参加全国第十三届庐山杯邀请展获得国画银奖，入选纪念毛泽东诞辰120周年展，作品被举办方收藏，编入作品集，并授予中国优秀艺术家称号。
2014年参加颂歌美丽中国一全国中老年优秀作品邀请展荣获“金奖”，作品被举办方收藏并编入作品集，作品集全国公开发行！特授予“中国书画功勋艺术家称号”！
2014年参加全国第五届羲之杯书画邀请赛获得“硬笔书法二等奖”，并邀请到Beijing京西宾参加颁奖盛会，并入光盘，和名家交流。
2014年受邀到Beijing大学参加书画高峰论谈和书画名家交流经验。
2014年签约羲之书画报·诗书画家报社书画家。
2014年参加全国环保公益行－全国书画家作品展获得“铜奖”。
2014年参加阳光杯第十二届书画摄影作品展获得“金奖”，作品被举办方永久收藏，入编作品集，并授予“当代艺术家荣誉称号”。
2014年参加由硬笔书法协会举办第三届十杰百强硬笔书法家评选入选“创作奖”。
2017年参加由硬笔书法协会举办全国书画艺术网络大赛（十万人大型书法网络大赛）获得“佳作奖”。
2017年参加由硬笔书法协会举办全国第三届书画艺术册页手卷大赛获“入选奖”。
在两位恩师唐湘子、曾刚先生的指点下，本人画技突飞猛进，得到了各界人士的认可，现有大量作品被企业、策展方、政府、艺术机构收藏并录入作品集全国公开发行，作品刊登于各类书画报刊上。
