He is a famous general, poet, writer, and calligrapher. The calligraphy of calligraphers is often derived from Zhang Xu and Huai Su, and is also known as the "Two Kings". They are skilled in cursive script, with strong strokes and abundant momentum, often exuding a sense of antiquity. Not confined to the ancient methods of the ancients, nor blindly demanding new elegance, it has formed its own unique calligraphy style. His works were invited to participate in the 10th National Calligraphy Exhibition and were selected for the "China's Top 100 Generals Calligraphy Exhibition". They have been published multiple times in People's Daily, People's Pictorial, PLA Daily, and Guangming Daily《Beijing晚报》《重庆日报》《中国书法》等报刊，并被中国驻加拿大、英国、德国、智利、委内瑞拉等十几个使领馆收藏。出版了由其恩师著名教育家、书法家欧阳中石题写书名的书法诗集《书民书作》《Yunnan纪行》和《书民诗词》。并且还出版有《马克思主义哲学教程新编》《幽燕风》《中国大缉毒》等书作，以及《大缉毒》和《古剑血影》等电视剧作。
