Gao Xilang. Chinese painter, cartoonist, and illustrator
Signed artist of Yidege. Graduated from the Department of Painting, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts.His works have won many domestic and international awards, and are collected by many art museums. At the age of 15, his calligraphy work was exhibited individually at the Akita Art Museum in Japan.Ink comics have been published in many authoritative newspapers in China. Mr. Wang Dengke, the chief editor of Chinese Calligraphy News, after seeing Gao Xilang's ink paintings, wrote: "The charm in the mundane, the life in the scenery, the social conditions in the brush and ink, and the deep feelings in the comics!" Among young Chinese painters, Gao Xilang is relatively focused on the inheritance of traditional ink painting. In his works, one can immediately see the solid traditional style, as well as the distinct modern ink atmosphere. He is good at landscapes and figures, with a wide range of themes in his works.
