Chen Gong has been studying the official script since childhood, later learning the regular scripts of Ouyang Xun, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, and Zhao Mengfu. He was guided by Wu Yuru and Wu Xiaoru. In recent years, he has been guided and helped by teachers such as Dong Yuming, the inheritor of the Nangong Monument calligraphy. He has studied the ancient cursive script "Bafen Shu" and has extensively practiced various stele and rubbings, gradually forming his own characteristics in regular script and running script. Chen Gong is also skilled in figure painting with fine brushwork. He is currently the Planning Director of Guangling Pavilion Art Academy in Beijing, a member of the Nangong Monument Calligraphy Association in Handan, and a registered examination teacher of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. Chen Gong is diligent in study and research, and has extensively practiced stele and rubbing works from all dynasties. He is known in the art world as the "Master of Copying Steles". He has participated in various domestic and international art exhibitions and has won many awards. His works are mainly collected by cultural institutions and individuals at home and abroad. Chen Gong believes, "I am a Chinese person, I must write Chinese characters well!"!
